V10 Power Band
V-10 The Power Band is named after Dan Freeman’s pet V-10 Viper. Like his viper the band is seldon seen during the daylight hours and is a quiet and unasuming bunch utill the key is turned and the gas is punched. Then, the engine comes alive for a full out high energy show that has the audience moving onto the dance floor.
V-10 is a dance band that brings an audience onto the dance floor with recognizable tunes from the Rythm and Blues, Funk, and Soul world and previously unheard dazzling new originals.
V-10 originated in the spring of 2008 and is the brainchild of Dan Freeman and Michael Hobbs who wanted to bring great players together that want to arrange, rehearse, and play out (rehearse…the ‘R’ word…what a concept!). This is not the typical jam band, but is a collaboration of talented individuals who are trying to rediscover the artists intent from the original recordings.
